Fiaseman Rural Bank inaugurates A21.2b banking hall

Bogoso (W/R), Dec. 18 GNA - Fiaseman Rural Bank today inaugurated the first floor of its banking hall, which was constructed at a cost of one point two million cedis (=A21.2b) at a ceremony at Bogoso in the Western Region.

The first floor, which is an extension of the old building, has eight offices, a large conference room, DSTV, telefax and 16-line extension among other things.

All the facilities were to cater for the computerization and also to provide a conducive working environment for staff and customers. Mr Dela Serlomey, Deputy Head of Banking Supervision, Bank of Ghana, who inaugurated it, said banking thrives on the confidence of the people and the imposing building carries such message to the people. He said, however, the building does not matter much, if it did not achieve the purpose for which it was built.

Mr Serlomey said the inauguration opened a new chapter in the history of the bank and hoped that customers would get the desired results, adding, customers should be served very well. He hoped that the Bank would continue to enhance the economic activities in the Fiaseman area.

Mr Emmanuel Bimpong, Supervising Manager of the Bank, said access drive for physically challenged have been created and appealed to everybody to do banking business with Fiaseman Rural Bank.
