Controversial NDC serial caller, Osei Yaw Nketia , ‘Dr’ Asemfoforo, is calling for the head of GFA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi and Coach Goran Stevanovic for the sub-par turnout of the Black Stars in the just ended African Cup of Nations. Speaking on Storm FM’s Morning Show hosted by Micky Charles on Thursday, the ardent critic of the NPP, who literally forced the ruling government to get him two vehicles for his toils, lambasted the FA boss for looking on unconcerned while the coach led the Black Stars to one of the worst outings in the nations cup history. He pointed out that until the coach and the FA boss are sacked, the stars would continue to disappoint and break the hearts of many.
Stevanovic has categorically stated that he will not resign, leaving his fate in the hands of the Ghana FA after a disappointing outing at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. On the allegation of black magic(juju) in the camp of the stars, Asemfoforo said as a spiritualist, he believes in the allegation, adding that black magic is relevant in football and until Ghana accepts the practice, football fans would continue to experience painfull moments any time the stars return from tournaments. Asemfoforo noted that most of the top players in the European league are thriving on the power of magic and that anyone who kicks against juju in football is only living a different world of sports.
He attributed Asamoah Gyan’s penalty miss to a spell by people who do not want the striker to swim in glory.
Months ago, Dr. Asemfoforo was widely reported to have been bed-ridden due to ill health and his call for help from the NDC went unnoticed. He claims he fought for the party when some ministers who now ride in expensive cars were nowhere. But that seems to be in the past now because with the two vehicles, it seems the gods have answered his prayers.
