Asante Kotoko CEO George Amoako claims Samuel Kwesi Fabin resigned from his role because he is going for a bumper deal elsewhere.

The former Hearts of Oak coach is seen, in a leaked video, negotiating a deal over the wire with an unknown South African club official.

But Amoako believes Fabin – who was taking Ghc 6000 monthly salary at Kotoko – has a big offer on the table and hence decided to quit.

“We knew he had been flirting about a move out after our friendly with Simba FC in Tanzania.” he is quoted to have said on Nhyira FM.

“So for us it is not surprising at all. Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian just want to go for some huge money elsewhere and that is why he has resigned” Amoako claimed.

” We had seen the video long time but we decided to act at the tight time until he chose to reign yesterday” he added.
