Dr. Kyei will make Kotoko great again – Hendricks

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko skipper, Joseph Hendricks, is backing newly-appointed CEO, Dr. Kwame Kyei, to succeed at the Club.

The successful business tycoon was appointed by life patron of Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to control the affairs of the club after the Opoku Nti-led administration was dissolved.

Hendricks, popularly known as ‘Oriba’, expressed his belief in Dr. Kyei’s ability to take Kotoko to greater heights and consequently reinstate Kotoko as one of the greatest clubs, not only in Ghana, but in Africa as a whole.

He said: “I think he can do the job, despite it being a new territory for him, I still believe he can succeed and make Kotoko great again.

“During my days at Kotoko, he did come close to team where he motivated us, so he is not a new person and I will entreat all the stakeholders to support him in his respective

endeavors.”
