The owner and bank roller of Elmina Sharks, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has confirmed the club’s interest in getting a substantive coach that will steer their affairs for the foreseeable future.
The club made do with two coaches throughout last season; Coach Yaw Acheampong who came in for the interim after Coach Amissah was directed to proceed on leave.
Dr. Ndoum has made it clear that, his club is working to get the best of football brains, from foreign and within, to take charge of Elmina Sharks’ technical team for the long term.
“We want someone who will come help the team not someone who will come and after a year he leaves. The one we will choose as a coach has already started interview with the club and hopefully by next week we should confirm the next coach for Elmina Sharks,” said Nduom.
