Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito has revealed that veteran forward John Antwi is at the center of transfer speculation as the club gears up for the 2024/25 football season.
Zito disclosed that Antwi has received multiple offers, indicating a possible departure from the club.
Antwi, a pivotal figure in Dreams FC's remarkable journey to the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals last season, is poised to leave as the team prepares for the new campaign.
The 32-year-old striker made a significant impact, netting six goals in just 12 appearances during the tournament.
Speaking with the popular broadcaster Professor George Kuntu Blankson on Takoradi-based Skyy Power 93.5 FM, Zito expressed his thoughts on Antwi's future and the club's plans.
"John Antwi had a lot of offers, and I seriously wanted him to leave. I even tried some negotiations for him," Zito shared.
With Antwi's potential departure imminent, Dreams FC is expected to seek a replacement during the ongoing transfer window.
