Midfielder Godfred Kingsley Atuahene has transferred from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC to Israeli club Ashdod FC.
The former Liberty Professionals player signed with Ashdod FC for the 2024/25 season after an impressive performance in the Ghana Premier League and on the continental stage.
Atuahene was a standout player for Dreams FC during their remarkable run in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.
He made 58 appearances in the Ghanaian top-flight league, scoring four goals, and played 14 matches for Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.
"We hereby confirm the transfer of Godfred Kingsley Atuahene to Israeli side Ashdod FC. Dreams FC expresses gratitude to Godfred Kingsley Atuahene for his dedicated service and wishes him the best," stated Dreams FC.
Atuahene is the second player in the past week to leave Dreams FC for Europe, following his teammate Abdul Aziz Issah, who signed with Barcelona B.
