Rejected Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Hayford is likely to re-unite with his ‘father’ David Duncan after suffering a humiliating transfer from the ailing former African Champions, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

Hayford, 22, was brought to limelight by the Asante Kotoko coach and has since referred to Duncan as his father.

Sources close to the Asante Kotoko manager have revealed to Ghanasoccernet.com that Duncan’s admiration for the youngster will see the two re-uniting in Kumasi. But the soft spoken Hayford responded shortly after the list was officially released blasting the Hearts management for wanting to truncate his career by given those reasons.

The source added that Duncan had inquired about the players who were shortlisted emphasizing on Emmanuel Hayford.

The workaholic midfielder was transfer-listed by the Phobians on the ground of lack of commitment and seriousness.

It will, therefore not be astonishing if the Hearts of Oak midfielder is found in the camp of the Reds in coming weeks.

Hayford was one of seven players who have been transfer-listed by the club including Sealsie Adjei and goalkeeper Tetteh Luggard.

The Phobians performed poorly in the just ended league compelling the management and technical team to take such decisions in an attempt to revamp the team for the upcoming season.
