Dwarfs beat Liberian Professionals 2-0

Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday beat Liberian Professional F/C based at the Budumburam Camp 2-0 in a friendly football match played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. Dwarfs scored a goal each in each half.

It was the Liberians who created a false impression about themselves with some immaculate touches from kick-off. Dwarfs called off their bluff five minutes later and took the lead through a free kick taken by Stephen Owusu in the 15th minute.

On resumption, the visitors made some incursions into the vital area of Dwarfs but again, it was the Cape Coast boys who hit the back of the net in the 65th minute. Matthew Atiogbe scored the goal.
