Ebusua Dwarfs made it a day of misery for Hearts of Oak as they registered their first win in the Glo Premier League with a 3-1 victory on Saturday.
Dwarfs scored twice in the second half to crush the Phobian's hopes of carrying on their impressive run after they last beat New Edubiase 5-2.
A hard fought home win looked on the cards as the Cape Coast side playing away from home due to home suspension took their chances on the day at the Tema Stadium.
Second half strikes from Prince Appiah, three minutes after the interval and substitute Bright Lukman's with five minutes remaining was enough to help Dwarfs to victory.
John Arthur got the opener for Dwarfs in the 36th minutes but six minutes after, Nuru Suley drew Hearts of Oak level.
The result will be very disappointing for Hearts of Oak coach C.K. Akonnor who sounded positive following last weekend's thumping home win.
Hearts of Oak have slipped to fourth on the table and could go further down depending on the results of the seven matches scheduled for Sunday.
