“ERKE to be number one” to support SWAG Awards

ERKE sportswear are for the first time participating in the glamorous Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) coming off at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra on Saturday, June 29, 2013.

Represented by Berlin Sports & Fitness shop on the Spintex Road, they supply authentic and designer sportswear made up dresses and shoes.

A representative said at the launch of the 38th SWAG Awards that they have come on board at the right time and they are out to supply the fashionable sporting needs of sportsmen, officials and fans.

He promised a fantastic package for the award winners and organisers of the ceremony.

The representative noted that ERKE is the current number one in sports kits and they have come to Ghana at the right time to equip Ghanaian sportsmen and women.

Nii Maale Adsei of Mamedia Ventures supported the idea that ERKE is one of the best and hinted that they are out to challenge the top sports kits like nike, adidas, reebok, lotto, puma, elsporto, filla, lecoqsportive, admiral, warrior, kappa and others.

He congratulated ERKE for taking the good decision to sponsor the SWAG Awards, which is the longest running sports Awards event and an avenue for meeting the cream of the nation’s sports heroes. Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah who also plays for Juventus in Italy and Black Maidens captain, Priscilla Okyere who also plays for Fabulous Ladies in Kumasi are gunning for the Sports Personality of the Year Award.

Asamoah, Emmanuel Clottey and Andre Ayew are contending for the Footballer of the Year Award, whilst Hearts of Oak’s Mahatma Otoo, Michael Akuffo of Asante Kotoko and Amidaus Professionals’ Yahya Mohammed are in competition for the Premiership Player of the Year.

Special Awards would be given to Promasidor Ghana Ltd, Die Hard Supporters Union, Para Athlete Anita Fordjour, Prince Amoabeng of UT Bank, Aleem Mumuni, the late lhaji Aliu Mahama and President J.E.A Mills, of blessed memory.
