Chief Executive Officer for Asante Kotoko George Amoako has cast doubt into the future of three key players as the team prepares for the CAF Champions League.
According to George, Songne Yacouba, Abdul Fatawu Safiu and Kwame Bonsu might leave the club before Asante Kotoko play their first game in the CAF Champions League in August. He also justified why the clubs is signing more players in the current transfer window.
” I can confidently say 3 to 4 of our players will be transfered to other clubs before we kick the ball.
“We are losing the services of key players like Fatawu, Songne Yacouba , Kwame Bonsu and Daniel Darkwah. It’s likely all of them might go”
“We have to plan to replace them. That is why so many names are being bundled around” He told Oyerepa FM Sports.
Kotoko have already signed 10 players to boost their squad ahead of the CAF Champions League.
