The Black Queens will start camping on Monday to begin preparation for their 2020 Olympic Games qualifier against Gabon.
The women’s national team will face Gabon in a two legged fixture, first on 26 August, 2019 with the return leg set for 3rd September, 2019.
It’s a chance for redemption for coach Mercy Tagoe and her girls after failing to impress at the 2018 AWCON.
Having failed to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, making it to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be the ultimate target for the Black Queens who are yet to make an appearance in the multi-sport competition.
