Ebenezer Assifuah bags brace as FC Sion

Striker Ebenezer Assifuah scored a double in FC Sion’s 3-1 win over Luzern on Saturday in the Swiss Super League.

The Ghana international has continued his good form after providing two assists in their Europa Cup exit on Thursday.

Assifuah opened the scoring in six minutes and then doubled the lead in the 59th minute before Theofanis Gekas scored the third in the 65th minute.

Then a minute after the goal, the former Liberty Professionals man was replaced by Martin Zeman.

Assifuah has now scored five goals in 20 league appearances.
