Ebenezer Assifuah returns to Ghana team for Egypt cracker

FC Sion striker Ebenezer Assifuah has returned to the Black Stars team ahead of the Egypt’s FIFA World Cup qualifying encounter in Cairo.

Assifuah has been out of the Stars team for some time now, and his return could help boost the team ahead of the crucial encounter.

Assifuah’s return could have been necessitated with Asamoah Gyan missing out on the game due to an injury he sustained with his team.

Earlier reports have suggested that the Stars will be heading to Dubai for pre-match preparation before moving to Cairo to engage the Pharaohs.

Ghana needs to win against a wounded Egyptian side who will throw everything at them in an attempt to revenge a painful 7-3 aggregate loss in their last qualifier.
