Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club, who announced this in Accra on Thursday, said the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition, which is open to amateur and professional golfers, was expected to attract a large entry of about 150 participants. He said the event, which would be played under the rules of the World's Golf governing body and the local rules of the Achimota Golf Club had Handicap 18 and 24 as the entry requirements.

Mr Oteng-Aboagye announced that the large entry for the championship this year was due to the successful organization of last year's event with the attractive prizes put at stake. Mike Ezan, President of the Achimota Golf Club would lead his team which would include Paul List, Charles Tabi, Michael Aggrey and Nick Small Man. Officials of the Bank are expected to grace the occasion.
