Eddie Ansah insists Kingson not finished

Black Stars goalkeeper's trainer Edward Ansah has defended the decision to leave Richard Kingson out of the Ghana squad but says the veteran goalkeeper still has a future with the side.
Kingson has been without a club since the end of the the last premier league season which forced Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic' hand in dropping him from the initial 25-man squad for the Nations Cup.
Kingson's huge experience spanning five Nations Cups and two World Cups has been cited as reason why he should have been in a squad especially with all three goalkeepers under 25-years and light on Nations Cup experience.
But Ansah says the technical team was left with no option than to drop Kingson and suggest he will get a look in again if he starts playing active football.
"He is not having a club, he says he is training with a club but is not attached and that influences with the coaches decision," Ansah said. "I believe in Richard, I believe he has a lot. If he gets a club and he starts playing then we would see.
"We don't have to retire Richard prematurely if he doesn't want to. I cant really say that. He depends on whether he starts playing then the coach will give him second thoughts. If he starts playing and plays regularly what stops him?"
