Newly elected Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, Lawyer Kweku Eyiah advised, during the Ordinary Congress of the FA to hold regular seminars and workshops for clubs administrator to keep them abreast with what is stipulated in the statutes and regulation of the association.
One thing that has hampered the growth of the local league in Ghana is the persistent protest filed by one club against another club.
Even sometimes club administrators normally exhibit their ignorance of what is stipulated in the statutes or regulation by using a repelled article to file a protest against another club.
An example can be cited in Kotoko protest case against Berekum Chelsea, where the Kumasi club used an article that has been amended.
In view of that, Lawyer Kwaku Eyiah has advised the FA to hold seminars and workshops for club administrators to keep them abreast with the statutes and regulations.
The FA must hold regular seminars and workshops for club officials to get them abreast with what is in the statutes and regulations. Often times, when we come here(Congress) we do amendments. We raise our hands to agree or disagree with some amendments. We go back home and we forget what is in the statutes.
