Happy FM holds Health and Fitness festival

The Happy FM Health and Fitness Festival ended on a grand note over the weekend with Holy Sprinters Keep Fit Club from Osu emerged the overall champions. Holy Sprinters were no match on the day as they emerged winners in most of the competitions held on the day.

Kriss Gym and One God Keep Fit Clubs came second and third respectively in the overall standings with some very good performances in all the competitions.

The maiden edition of the health and fitness festival attracted over 30 clubs to the El-wak Stadium who competed in various sports disciplines like football, athletics, arm wrestling, jama competition and many others. It was also a time of networking and an opportunity to learn how practice healthy living.

Two late goals from Timberland Club were enough to hand them the coveted accolade as the winners of the Databank football competition against arch-rivals Overcomers in a fiercely fought encounter.

The Corporate Football Challenge which is a new addition to the Health and Fitness festival was won by Azar Group as they beat over ten other clubs.

This year’s festival which was had the theme: “Good Life through Keeping Fit”, witnessed other side attractions like exhibition of products and services by some companies.
