Eleven Wise beat Hearts of Lion 2-1

Sekondi, May 10, GNA - Sekondi Eleven Wise on Sunday beat Kpando Heart of Lion 2-1 in their Glo Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong. Wise upset Lions with an early sixth minute goal converted by John Antwi in the goal area of the opponents. Lions regained their determined posture as they moved tactically into the penalty area of Eleven Wise after conceding the early goal and pushed more men up front into the goal area of the home side in search of the equaliser.

Wise had tough moments keeping the strikers of Lions away from their goal area however in the 20th minute, Tanko Mohammed beautifully equalized for his side after outwitting the defense of Wise. Back from recess, Wise started an all attacking game and this paved the way for John Antwi to score the second goal for the home side in the 57th minute.

From then on both sides gave out their best as the match progressed but it was Lions who were on top of proceedings in most of the time but failing to get the matched needed equaliser.
