Ghanaian teenager Jalal Abdullai has expressed his delight after signing a contract extension with IF Elfsborg.
The 18-year-old striker inked a four-year extension with the Swedish outfit on Monday, September 2.
“IF Elfsborg is pleased to announce that together with Jalal Abdullai, they have agreed on a contract extension. The striker has signed a new deal that runs through the 2028 season,” the Swedish club announced.
Speaking to the media team of his club, Jalal Abdullai said he believes he has made the right choice and expects his stay at IF Elfsborg to help him develop.
“It feels very good to have signed and to continue to develop in IF Elfsborg,” the forward said.
Jalal continued, “I think this is absolutely the right place for me to be, where I can continue to play and develop in a good association. Everyone in the team and around the club has treated me well since I came here and I am very happy to continue playing here.”
The Ghanaian forward signed for IF Elfsborg from Ghanaian Inter Allies FC in the summer of 2023.
He has since impressed with his performances and is held in high esteem.
