Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu settles cost of surgery for injured female footballer

Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has decided to pay for the cost of surgery for female footballer Afisatu Abubakar who suffered a serious collar bone injury last Saturday.

The Real Upper Ladies striker fell heavily and broke her clavicle/collar bone on Saturday during the Special Competition match.

Abubakar, 19, was rushed to the Wa Regional Hospital for diagnosis and treatment.

She was later transferred to the St. Theresa Hospital at Nandon where she is scheduled to go under the knife on Friday.

Her club reported she would need US$ 500 (GHc 2,500).
