Emmanuel Anim aka 'Horse Power' is upbeat about his chances of winning as he prepares to face what should his toughest fight on Hemann Promotions' Azumah Nelson Fight Night 5 round 2 at the Bukom Boxing Arena on March 24
Undefeated Anim (13-0, 11 KOs) battles unbeaten Emmanuel 'Mayweather' Martey (11-0, 8 KOs) for the Ghana Super middleweight title, which is also a Commonwealth title eliminator, but Anim is not deterred by claims by his opponent to hand him his first career defeat.
"He cannot stop me, everybody knows that Martey is not a hard boxer but that's what he's saying. It's normal in boxing, anybody can brag and say what he likes but in the end we will all find out in the ring," Anim told Dornu's Corner at the Seconds Out gym where he has been training.
"If he's undefeated, I am also undefeated, if he's tough I am also tough so I have nothing to say. In boxing, unless you fight tough opponents before you find out how good you are so let's just get into the ring and let's see," soft-spoken Anim continued.
"I am ready, I have always been ready, even today I'm ready. I'm going to win and my fans also believe I am going to win, some of them are even saying I should knock him out," Emmanuel Anim said.
