Emmanuel Banahene scores first goal for new Egyptian Premier League season

Ghana striker Emmanuel Banahene chalked a piece of history by becoming the first scorer of the 2018/19 Egyptian Premier League season.

The burly forward needed just nine minutes to open the scoring for Ittihad Alexandria against Arab Contractors.

The home side couldn't hold on to their early lead to bag first three points of the season as Arab Contractors equalized in the 68th minute of the game.
