Ghana striker Emmanuel Boateng and his Levante teammates will begin their Spanish La Liga season against Real Betis on August 19th.
The 21 year old, who had an outstanding debut season is the La Liga will be hoping to build on last season's success with a better campaign in the 2018/19 season.
The Black Stars forward scored 9 goals for Levante last season, 6 in the La Liga with three coming in his headline grabbing performance against Barcelona.
Popularly referred to as "Barcelona Slayer", Boateng's hat-trick against the Champions halted their unbeaten run in the Spain in the 2017/18 season. He also had a goal against European Champions Real Madrid.
His outstanding performance saw him earn a call up to the national team, where he made his debut against Japan with his second cap coming against Iceland.
Boateng returned to Spain for preseason and has already registered his name on the scoresheet after finding the net against Bournemouth.
However, he has suffered an injury, which is unclear as to whether he will return sooner for the opener against Betis.
After facing Betis, Levante will take on Celta Vigo, Valencia, Espanyol and Sevilla in their first five games of the new season.
