Hearts of Oak coach Kenichi Hatsuhashi has described as "fair" the two match home ban handed the club by the Ghana Football Association for the reaction of their fans in the clash with Was All Stars.
Supporters of the Accra-based giants threw missiles onto the pitch to register their displeasure over a referee decision in the said match.
As part of efforts to clamp down on hooliganism, Hearts were ordered subsequently by the Disciplinary Committee of the FA to honor 3 home matches behind closed doors, which was later reduced to 2 matches and a fine of GHC12000.
And the Japanese trainer Kenichi believes the club deserved the sanctions.
"I think it is fair punishment, the fans must respect the laws of the game. So I think it is fair,” Kenichi said after their solitary win over Hasaacas.
Hearts of Oak played their last home match against Hassacas in an empty stadium and are due to take on Liberty professionals on Thursday to mark the end of the ban.
