RICHARD Kingson doesn’t care what England team he faces tonight – the Ghana keeper is simply thrilled to be finally stepping out at Wembley.

Kingson will earn his 85th cap in tonight’s international friendly and will fulfil a lifelong ambition by playing against Fabio Capello’s team, even if England’s big boys won’t be involved.

“I have waited for it for a long time and it is going to be a game that most of Ghana will be watching,” said the 32-year-old.

“It’s a ceremonial game for Ghanaians. People are coming over from Ghana and they don’t care what happens because they just want to be there, watching their team play England.

“The Premier League is one of the biggest in the world and most Ghanaians watch it.

“It will be my first time at Wembley. I have only seen it on TV.

“I know it’s a friendly but it’s serious for Ghanaians. When I was a little boy in Ghana I used to watch the Premier League. Now I’ve played against some of the players and I am going to face the national side – it is going to be great.”

Kingson is almost certain to start. He is Ghana’s vice-captain and was one of their standout players in last summer’s World Cup. The match is being screened live on ITV, kick-off 8pm
