Eric Ayiah shortlisted for 2017 CAF Youth Player of the Year

Ghana U17 captain Eric Ayiah is among four players shortlisted for the 2017 CAF Youth Player of the Year award.

The Charity Stars ace faces stiff competition from South Africa winger Luther Singh.

Singh emerged top-scorer at the CAF U20 African Cup of Nations and was also named in the Team of the tournament.

The rest are Senegal's Krepin Diatta and Patson Daka of Zambia and Austrian side FC Liefering.

Mali starlet Salam Giddou of Guidars who starred at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup finals completes the cast.

The winner at the announced at the Awards Gala which will take place on Thursday, 4 January 2018 in Accra, Ghana.
