Ashantigold midfielder Eric Opoku insists he will not leave the club despite mounting interest from rival clubs.
The club’s assistant captain has been linked with a move away from Obuasi with Kotoko believed to be the front-runners for his signature following an impressive campaign .
But the youngster has moved to water down on the reports insisting he will be staying with the miners.
“I will stay with Ashgold for next season and not moving to another club .Is either i stay or move abroad .There is no place like here,” he told Obuasi-based Shaft FM.
Opoku was crowned the Most Dedicated Award during a gala to reward deserving players last week.
