Abdul Samed “Okocha”, one of Africa’s representatives of kit manufacturers Eureka says his company has no deal with Accra Hearts of Oak to provide kits for them.

Speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM on Sunday, April 19, 2015, Abdul Samed said his company, Eureka will seek legal clarification on why and how Accra Hearts of Oak officials told reporters in Ghana that they have reached a 2 year deal with the Asia based kit manufacturers.

“We don’t have a deal with Hearts of Oak and we don’t want our brand name to be dragged in the mud so we will officially write to Hearts of Oak to seek more clarification on the purported deal. Maybe someone has swindled them because we have no deal or agreement with Hearts. By close of next week, we will write to Hearts of Oak.”

Last month, it was reported that Hearts of Oak had agreed a two- year deal with Eureka with the club’s spokesperson, Muheeb Saeed The Phobians per the initial reports were expected to receive 10,000 replica jerseys which they will sell to their supporters.

The last time Hearts had a kit manufacturer was in the 2008-2009 season when German sportswear maker Jako was their partner. That deal was not renewed because the Mulfingen-based company felt it was not getting mileage.
