Former Asante Kotoko star Isaac Oppong was instrumental in securing CSF Spartanii Sportul's first win of the 2024/25 Moldovan Superliga season. He scored the only goal in their 1-0 victory over Dacia-2 Buiucani at the Baza Zimbru 2 Stadium.
Oppong netted the decisive goal in the 58th minute, marking his first goal for the Gladiators. The 21-year-old winger, who joined Spartanii Sportul on a free transfer this summer after parting ways with Asante Kotoko, has quickly made his mark by scoring in just his second appearance for the club.
This win was particularly notable as it ended Spartanii Sportul's winless streak against Dacia-2 Buiucani, a team that had previously dominated their encounters with three wins and one draw.
With this important victory, CSF Spartanii Sportul aims to build on their momentum in their next league match against FC Balti on August 24, 2024.
