Ex-Ashantigold CEO Frederick Acheampong ready to serve on Kotoko’s management

Former Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold, Frederick Acheampong says he will welcome any call from the newly constituted board of Asante Kotoko to serve on the club's management team.

The Manhyia Palace on Thursday announced a new Board of Directors with Dr. Kwame Kyei maintaining his position at the club to steer the affairs of the porcupine warriors.

In an interview with Happy FM, the Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association expressed his readiness to serve on Kotoko’s yet to be named management team.

The Board of Directors is supposed to name a management team for the Kumasi based club.

However, according to Frederick Acheampong he will not hesitate to welcome a call from the board to be on the management team.

“If anyone calls me to work with the club I will do that because I have been giving ideas to a lot of clubs even when I was the CEO for Ashantigold. We are all Ghanaians so I will not decline to work or share my views to management of Kotoko when they call me” he said
