Ex-Kotoko assistant coach Sarfo Castro has revealed his interest in up the vacant coaching role at Ghanaian second-tier side Dunkwa United.
The ex-player told Dunkwa-based Solar Fm on Monday that he would relish guiding the club to Premier League after two failed attempts and that he wields a wealth of experience having played and managed several Division One and Premier League clubs.
“Dunkwa United are a club I have long followed with great admiration and would like to bring my rich experience in playing and coaching to bear on them”, he intimated.
“The project they have fascinates me a lot and would suit me as far as their quest to take on challenges is concerned”, he stressed.
The former assistant coach to Maxwell Konadu at Kotoko did disclosed that he would not think for a second if he were to be approached for the job.
“Sure I would readily accept the offer to coach the club if I were contacted now. I have followed their exploits especially at the National Middle League level and I think I wouldn’t struggle with the quality of players at their outfit”, he hinted.
Dunkwa United have been without a coach since ex-Ghana international Yaw Acheampong left the club for Inter Allies last month.
