Exclusive:No demands for any increments - Daara

Ghanaweb can reliably confirm that players of the Black Stars are not demanding an increment of their winning bonus.

Media reports are rife that, the players are demanding that their bonus is increased from 10,000 dollars to 15,000 dollars.

But in an interview with Ghanaweb, the Director of Communications of the Ghana Football Association Saani Daara rubbished the reports saying, it is not true that players of the senior national soccer team are demanding 15,000 dollars instead of their usual 10,000 dollars.

Daara said, "there is no iota of truth in the reports and thus Ghanaians should treat the said rumour, with all the contempt it deserves".

He said, "none of the players have spoken to anyone about money".

"They are fully concentrating on the game and nothing else", he stated.

"We have just come from the final training in good spirits", Saani continued.
