After two days of "sizing" each other at the Bechem United Club House at Bechem, TANGA boys proved to be superior on the field over Bechem United Club's second side. Players from the two Clubs shared the same dormitories even before the beginning of the tournament.

The two Clubs clashed in a match that many spectators at the Bechem Sports Stadium described as the "Clash of the Titans."

FC ATANGA and Bechem United's Second team attracted massive supports on their first matches due to their performance and so did not come as a surprise to the two managements and spectators, when the organizers decided to engage the two teams in a match.

A defensive error on the FC TANGA side gave room for a Bechem United player who was not marked, to head a cross into the net; awakening the supporters of Bechem to start shouting and demanding for more goals.

Half-time talks from Technical Team propelled the TANGA boys to push the Bechem boys deep into their side of the field in the early part of the game. After several failed attempts, FC TANGA's Azeko Mandela (30) hit the ball into the Bechem net with his left when he came face to face with the Bechem Keeper.

With less than 10 minutes to the end of the match, Laminu Musah who has just returned from trial in the Czech Republic kicked the ball over the head of the Bechem Keeper, from the edge of the 18 area into the net bringing the score line to 2:1 in favour of FC TANGA.

The spectators cheered the TANGA boys on and demanded for more goals as though FC TANGA was playing home.

With that wonderful performance, FC TANGA has just registered its name on the minds of football lovers in Bechem and will keep looking forward to FC TANGA matches.

Elated Azeko Mandela told this reporter that his desire to see a Premier Club in the Upper East region propels him to do more for his Club all the time irrespective of his condition
