FC Zurich are unfazed about the future injury risk for Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena amid rejecting a mouth-watering offer from English side Brighton.
The Swiss side are holding out for €15 million, knocking back an initial €10 million bid from the English side.
The scenario is all familiar for the side after President Ancillo Canepa knocked out an almost 10 million for Chelsea's Yassine Chikhaoui in 2007.
But the Tunisian left the club for a fraction after niggling injuries.
There are no guarantees that the unfortunate episode may not resurface with concerns it would have been prudent to sell the Ghanaian.
But FC Zurich President Ancillo Canepa is unpertubed about the future injury risk for Ghanaian.
"There is always a risk of injury. But the football business runs like any other," he told Zentral News
"A company is also bought because of its future potential. This assessment determines the price.
'And that's no different with a footballer. And Raphael has a huge potential. "
The newly-promoted English Premier League side tabled the offer last week as exclusively revealed by GHANAsoccernet.com but was knocked back by the Swiss side.
However, the Seagulls remain interested in the Ghana international, who has seen a remarkable career rise in just six months.
Manager Chris Hughton is a key admirer of the Ghanaian, who joined FC Zurich from Red Bull Salzburg in January and scored an impressive 12 goals in 18 games.
The Swiss side bought the striker for about £250,000 just six months ago from Austria Lustenau and would have made a decent profit of £7, 750,000 if they allowed him to move.
