Ghana moved two places up in the latest FIFA Ranking released on Thursday, 16 August 2018 with total points of 1424.
The Black Stars are now ranked 45th in the world and 4th in Africa despite missing out in the FIFA World Cup tournament between June and July 2018.
Tunisia tops the pack in Africa followed by Senegal with both countries ranked 24th in the World.
Congo DR is ranked 3rd in Africa and 37 in the World. Morocco, who participated in the recent World Cup, are ranked 5th in Africa and 46th in the World.
World Cup winners, France, top the world ranking with Belgium, who were second runners-up in the World Cup placed 2nd. Brazil is placed third and Croatia who were first runners-up in the World Cup ranked 4th.
The 5th position is occupied by Uruguay; and England have moved six places up to the 6th position.
