Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan, suffered an injury during the team’s second day of training at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday, Ghanacrusader.com gathers.
The 31-year-old pulled out of training today and remains a major doubt for Sunday’s encounter against Pharaohs of Egypt in the last group E match of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars top scorer suffered a slight knock during warm up under Coach Kwesi Appiah. He is currently be assessed by the medical team.
Meanwhile, Sunday’s encounter is a mere formality as Egypt have already qualified to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
