Kim Grant has terminated his contract as coach of Bangladesh Premier League side Saif Sporting Club over board room unrest, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The former Ghana striker's future as coach of the club had been source of much speculation ever since news broke out there is an internal row within the board which led to him meeting with the club's hierarchy earlier this week.
Ghana's leading football website, GHANASoccernet.com can confirm that the 44-year-old has resigned from his position as the club's coach after his efforts to resolve the wrangling proved futile.
Grant had been in his position as coach of Saif Sporting Club since April this year when he took over from Serbian trainer Nikola Kavazovic, who left the job during their pre-season training camp in Kolkata, India.
Grant left the club in 4th position on the standings, four points adrift of leaders Abahani Chittagong after the first round, having lost just one game in 11 matches.
He was the technical director of Ghana Premier League outfit Ebusua Dwarfs at the start of the just end Ghana league campaign before leaving to join the Bangladesh side.
