Ghana will be without captain Asamoah Gyan for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Sunday, the FA has confirmed.
The 32-year-old did not recover in time after pulling out of the team's training on Wednesday due to a thigh problem.
The Ghana FA has now confirmed the Kayserispor striker won't be available for the game in Cape Coast.
It's a massive blow for coach Kwesi Appiah as he will have to map out strategies without the iconic talisman.
