Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah has revealed convincing Adam Kwarasey back to the national team but goalkeeper keeps providing excuses for his absence.
The Valerenger goalkeeper has been out of the Black Stars for a long while citing different reason for his unavailability.
Coach Kwesi Appiah is giving opportunities to several players as he continues with his rebuilding process at the national team.
He indicated he has tried inviting the former Rosenburg goalkeeper but he provides excuses for his absence.
“There’s no single call up I don’t consider, with Adam Kwarasey I talked to him and asked Richard Kingston to take it up from there but getting to time to do the call ups , he gives excuses.
“No player should feel bigger than Ghana, Ghana is bigger than any player, ” Appiah stated.
Adam Kwarasey represented Ghana at the Africa Cup of nations in 2012 as well as at the FIFA World Cup in 2014.
Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting the player has fallen out with the handlers of the national team.
Maritzburg United goalkeeper Richard Ofori has now been trusted with the nub=mber one position by Richard Kingston, the Black Stars goalkeeper's trainer.
