Faisal/Ashgold and match officials for Disciplinary Committee

Accra, Nov. 20. GNA - The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited the match officials who officiated in the 10th Week Onetouch Premier League game between King Faisal and Ashantigold to appear before it to answer incidents of violence reported after the game.

According to a statement issued by Aaron Sowah, Secretary to the Committee copied to the GNA Sports, the match officials and affected Clubs are scheduled to appear on Tuesday, November 21 at GFA secretariat at 3 pm.

They are Mr. Munifie of the National Sports Council, (NSC) the Match Commissioner, Tema-based Class One referee, P. K. Agego 96 Azazah and his assistants Victor Dwamena of Tema and Robert Duodu of Accra respectively with the fourth referee, . Anyomi Tako of Sunyani. Also to appear before the Committee are the match officials of the Power FC match against Bofoakwa and the Berekum Arsenals verses Tema Youth clashes.

The other officials are Tema-based Albert Nelson, Ahmed Tijani Seitu of Accra, Asiedu Korankye of Assin Fosu, J.K. Odoom of Agona Swedru and Ernest Boateng, a player of Samartex and Odupong FC 96 Samartex F.C. The captains of 7 United FC 96 St. Mirren have also been invited by the Committee with Swedru-based referee Make Mansfield, Christian Quartey of Accra, D.V. Fugah and David Wormadey both of Tema. Kyebi-based referee Ben Nii Okai Woolley, J.A. Odoom of Swedru, David H.K. Azaalletey of Akatsi and Nat Plange of Accra who officiated in the game between Mighty Jets 96 Okwawu United are also invited. The rest are Jerome Kudjo, an official of Fairpoint, referee Alex Sowah, E. Ashielvi and M. Dawutey all of Accra and G. Agbetsiame of Tema, the match officials of the game between Fairpoint 96 Mighty Jets.

The referees for Metro Stars match against Eleven Wise have also been invited and they are referee E.R. Biney, Godfred Omaboe, Kofi Asare all of Accra and S.A. Adzoko of Sekondi with Fuseini Serena, an official of Eleven Wise.

Kumasi-based referees K. Nsiah Boafo, Nana K. Bentum, K. Sarfo Adade and J.H. Quarshie of Sunyani have also been invited alongside Nsoatreman FC 96 Aduana Stars clash with Yeji Stars 96 Lepo Stars and Bechem United FC 96 Aduana Stars and the match officials are also to appear before the Committee.
