Faisal beat Hasaacas 2-1

Kumasi, Oct. 25, GNA - Kumasi-based King Faisal FC on Sunday earned a slim 2-1 victory over visiting Sekondi Hasaacas in their Glo Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. Faisal scored the first goal in the 31st minute through Hamza Mohammed after series of attempts by Hasaacas made attempts to find the leader. Gingered by the goal, Faisal worked harder and increased their goal tally in the 39th minute with Awudu Nafiu hitting the back of the net in a goal mouth melee from a corner kick.

Hasaacas improved on their game after the recess managed to score a goal in the 52nd minute but the effort was ruled offside. The visitors accepted the challenge and mounted series of attacks and went on to redeem a goal seven minutes later through Joseph Bissah who finished off a pass from Benjamin Tuffour.

Both teams exhausted their substitutions but it was the visitors who had the upper hand playing inter-positional and tactical moves but with the packed defence of Faisal, they failed to find the equalizer till the final whistle.
