Kumasi, Feb. 21, GNA - Kumasi King Faisal on Sunday displayed good tactical discipline to thrash Berekum Arsenal 2-0 in the 19th Week encounter of the Glo Premier League at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi. Faisal piled up pressure on Arsenal in most part of the first half and managed to pin them to their own half but the early clear-cut chances that came their way in the 25th and 30th minutes were squandered by Frank Acheampong and Ofosu Micky.
In one of their threatening moves upfront in the 36th minute, Prince Arkoh sent in an in-swinger which Arsenal's defender Baba Awuni handled the ball in his box for the spot kick to be converted by Micky. In the second half, Faisal continued with their all attacking game and increased their goal tally to two in the 50th minute. The second goal which was a beautiful one was initiated from the right flank by Micky, who pounced on a loose ball, raced deep into the goal area of Arsenals before letting go a well rehearsed cross which was connected home by Arkoh.
