At Swedru, visiting Kumasi King Faisal managed to pick a point at the Swedru Stadium when they played Gamba All Blacks in their sixth week One Touch Premier League match on Sunday.
The two teams showed indications of carrying the day right from the blast of referee's whistle with Danjuma Jafaro of All Blacks and Kweku Essien of Faisal blowing away scoring chances in the 14th and 15th minutes respectively.
The exchanges remained balanced till the close of the first half but it was the host, who were more dominant in the game on resumption of the second half as they subjected Faisal to an intensed pressure. The trend compelled Alhaji Abdul Karim Gruzah, Chairman and Founder of Faisal to move to his bench to shout out instructions to his coach Abdul Karim Zito to suggest changes in the team.
All Blacks who played with their head coach, Hans Dieter Schimdt in the stands as a result of his inability to secure a work permit, had a glorious opportunity to score but Bismark Aidan failed to convert the chance that came his way.
The home side increased the tempo of the game in the last 20 minutes of the game but keeper Sam Okyere remained alert and made three superb saves in the 70, 75 and 80th minutes to keep a clean sheet.
