Kumasi, Dec. 13, GNA - Kumasi King Faisal settled for a 1-1 drawn game with Accra Great Olympics in their Ninth Week Glo Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday. It was Olympics who were the first to open the scores in the 22nd minute after series of forays before they earned a free kick in the vital area of Faisal for Ronal Bortey to slot home.

Faisal accepted the challenge and improved on their game and found the equalizer in the 36 minute through Emmanuel Nsakie Odoi who headed home a cross from Kwadwo Boateng.

In the 33rd minute, Faisal wasted an opportunity to carry the day when they earned an indirect kick inside the box after goalkeeper Ben Mensah had hit the turf with the ball three times from the goal line but the strikers shot off target to the relief of Olympics.

Both teams played a determined game in the second session with Olympics being the superior side in the match which was handled by referee Yaw Amatepe.

Faisal came into the picture with series of incursions but Enoch Ebo Ando and Prince Arko missed clear opportunities with poor shots even in goal- mouth melees in the 82nd and 86 minutes respectively for the two sides to split the points.
