Fans of newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics are reportedly protesting against incoming head coach David Duncan over his new squad policy.

The 51-year-old is set to make a return to Olympics by taking charge as new head coach but fans of the Wonder Club are not too happy with his squad policy.

According to Accra-based Asempa FM, fans present at the club’s training grounds furiously objected his new directive to axe over twenty players from their existing squad and bring his new crop of players.

According to the reports, Duncan described 24 players as not meeting his standards.

Olympics have confirmed a return is on the cards for their former defender after sorting out his legal issues with Accra Hearts of Oak.

But is set to face some challenges from Olympics fans over his policy.

If his move to the club is confirmed, Duncan will bring along with him former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy, sign midfielders Obed Ansah and James Tagoe – who played under him at AshGold.

2006 Ghana World Cup defender Issah Ahmed is also training with the Wonder Club but nothing concrete has been announced yet.
