Mamobi won the previous edition of the tournament
The 5th edition of the annual Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup was launched in Accra on Thursday
The competition which seeks to honour the National Chief Imam of Ghana Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu will bring together all the Zongo communities in the Accra Metropolis and around to compete in a football competition as part of social events to mark the end of Ramadan.
The games which will take place at Wembley Sports Stadium in Kotobabi on the eve of the Idr Fitr will see the following communities battling for supremacy; Alajo vs Tudu, Kasoa vs Nima, Madina vs Nungua Zongo, Tunga vs New Town, Darkuman vs Nsawam Zongo, Ashaiman vs Ashale Botwe, Fadama vs Maamobi Ashaiman vs Sabon Zongo
Maamobi beat Madina 2-1 to win the last edition of the tournament.
