Broadcaster, Fiifi Banson, has started a new television station. The 24-hour channel available on digital, has been running test transmission for months now.
Platinum Sports as it is called, is dedicated to sports, and has so far been screening a mix of foreign and local content for its test transmission.
The station is set to launch in February. Managers of the station are hopeful it will become a force to reckon with when it starts actual programming.
Banson, the current evening drive host on Accra-based Peace FM, is a known name in media circles. Before joining Peace FM, he worked for Radio Gold.
