Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Agyei is rearing to feature in Carrarese Calcio 1908 Sunday’s league match against Juventus U23 after recovering from injury.
After ending their four-match winless run against Pro Vercelli last Sunday, the Blue Rose will engage Juventus U23 this weekend.
In an interview with Daniel Agyei — the Blue Rose veteran could not hide his joy after making a recovery from an injury setback, and he insisted that though their clash against Juventus will be tough, he believes they have what it takes to return home with the three points.
“My injury was heavy and required an important rehabilitation in the timing, but I'm happy to be back to work with the team.”
“I missed the field and today I think I'm in a recovery phase that allows me to have an acceptable condition, obviously to improve.”
“Now I enter the field for some clips but in front of me there are comrades who are behaving well and deserve to play.”
“It is up to me to prove that I can be useful to the cause right from the start of the game.”
Next race with Juventus U23 in front, what game do you expect?
“A difficult trip that we know how to deal with. I agree with the Mister and my teammates that we should no longer err on the part of a race and that there should be no blackouts that affect our matches. The Carrarese must be hungry for victory to progress in its rankings.”
Agyei is yet to score for the side this term after 8 games.
